This weekend I went camping at Detroit Lake, Oregon and was able to try out my new 5d mark III shooting the stars. Unfortunately the moon was out and made shooting most of the sky pretty difficult. I was still able to get a cool shot of a campfire lighting up the trees under the big dipper though. I can't wait to really put this camera to the test shooting some new star pictures.
